Poppy, near Chicago, IL
September 21, 2012-- Because of personal issues on the part of Poppy's owner, which DCIN is not free to discuss, we are removing Poppy from DCIN's adoptables list.
September 10, 2012--Poppy's fate had changed. He was already in need of a new home but now he has only a month left to find it. His foster Mom is no longer able to care for him due to her health issues. He is such a wonderful cat and needs someone who can properly monitor his diabetes.
Please contact Jennifer@dcin.info.

March 18, 2012: Poppy is a friendly neutered male who is about 6 or 7 years young. Abandoned at a rescue organization in July 2008, he was diagnosed with diabetes this past year.
FIV/FeLV negative and weighs about 12 pounds. Currently on Lantus insulin.
His rescue person has many other kitties to care for and some very pressing medical issues of her own and cannot properly care for Poppy. You can contact Poppy's DCIN Case Manager at Jennifer@dcin.info.
