Gorgeous Nina has had a very difficult life. Nina was dumped at the Park Slope Animal Hospital in Brooklyn, NY about 2 months ago. After years of neglect, weight loss, excessive thirst, and infested with fleas her owners dumped her and paid to have her euthanized. The hospital staff had hope for this little girl and took this money and ran some tests on Nina and found out she was diabetic. She was treated with insulin and fluids for her condition.

Nina's belly is now nice and round, she has become very playful and her fur is soft and fluffy. She is like a kitten again! She is currently living in a cage waiting for someone special to take her home with them and give her the chance she was never given. All she wants is some love, food, insulin and a nice home. In return she will pay you back with purrs, headbutts and a lifetime of love.

Nina is 7 years old, spayed, current on all vaccinations, negative FIV/Felv. She is great with cats and dogs. Her diet is currently all wet food and she is on 2 units of ProZinc twice a day. She is looking to trust again after being hurt so bad by her last owners. If you would like more information on Nina or would like to open your heart to her please email CĂ©line at celine@dcin.info
