Cher in Eureka, Montana needs a home

September 9, 2011: At maybe 4 years young Cher is a sweet torti girl who needs a forever home of her own. Currently in rescue with Underdog Rescue, she’s doing well, but imagine how great she’d be if she were in her own home and off Humulin N and onto something better.

From their site: Cher is a lovebug, adores attention, is good with kids, cats and dogs. Cher has SO much love to give if someone will only give her a chance?

Cher is spayed, indoor only but likes to sit outside on the porch. She is currently in foster care but needs to stay in the bathroom where she is comfortable and safe. When she’s out of the bathroom she sleeps on her foster person’s bed and enjoys lap time by her side and loves attention. She is an independent girl but gets along cats and dogs and children.

She came to the shelter as a stray just over a year ago. Dx due to amount of water she was drinking. No history of ketones, she takes 4 units of Humulin N twice per day. Currently not hometested. She eats Dry Purina and some wet Friskies. No other known health issues. FIV/FeLV status unknown but shelter will run those tests when needed.

Foster mom says: she is the most laid back easy going cat I've ever met. She is content sleeping her crate for hours and her motor just starts up when you enter the room. She is a great cat and will fit in nicely really anywhere!
