Misty Blue Now in Her New Home

Update 8/12/10--I received a message from Misty Blue's new Mom.
Misty Blue (Huey): OTJ. Once I got her used to canned and off the dry DM, 94 this morning. Yippee!
Congratulations Mom and Misty Blue!!! **************************************************************** Original post, 7/12/10--This cat was posted by DCIN as a courtesy post. We had this information about her.
This is Huey. She is a beautiful DSH grey tabby who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. The girl who rescued Huey has limited financial means and does not want a diabetic cat. This girl is planning to euthanize Huey if a foster/adopter is not found soon. Huey is very sweet, mellow and doing well on her diet of Innova EVO dry and Lantus insulin. We are an overwhelmed adoption group with a very limited amount of cat fosters. We have posted Huey on our Petfinder webpage with no luck. This is a last ditch effort to save Huey.
A long-time FDMB member immediately adopted Huey and renamed her Misty Blue. (The cat had been named Huey because she was from Houston.
