Domestic Abuse Resources

There was a recent call for help from an Orange County, CA, rescuer because a woman's husband was physically abusing her diabetic cat. Animal abuse often occurs concurrently with or precedes domestic abuse on the woman and her children, if any. A woman named Sherry who was touched by that situation put together this list of resources. Please let me know if you have additional links to add to this list.
