Gramps in CT; Safe with Foster
June 7, 2012--Gramps is officially on wet food only. Still receiving 6 units of Prozinc twice a day. His BG's are now in the 150-200 range. He is finally a happy kitty! He still needs to have his teeth pulled but that's not stopping him from giving lots of rubs and kisses. He is staying in foster care.
March 13, 2012--Gramps is a 10 year old black and white neutered male that was left to fend for himself in Danbury. Brookfield Animal Hospital took him in and decided to give him a second chance. Gramps will move to his private foster home this weekend. His foster Mom says "He is such a sweet, loving cat without a mean bone in his body."
Gramps is FIV positive and will need a home where he can be an only cat or with other FIV positive kitties. He does seems to be OK with dogs. DCIN is courtesy posting Gramps' need for a new home. If you are interested in Gramps, please email JennF@dcin.info and she will put you in touch with the private foster home.
Gramps also is in need of a dental to have most of his teeth removed. The estimate is $600, and DCIN has pledged $150.(chip-in widget removed.)
