Update 8/12/10--Sadly, Windy died Tuesday, August 10, 2010, from the potassium imbalance. Windy is an 11 YO diabetic cat in Bushkill/East Stroudsburg, PA, that needs rehoming. His owner works in Manhattan and is away from home 5 days a week. Windy was just diagnosed diabetic, and has not started treatment yet because he also has a potassium imbalance that he is first being treated for. Windy's plight was posted by the owner's Mom, who lives in California and also has a diabetic cat. The Mom said her daughter "is willing to buy supplies for Windy for whomever can adopt him."
