Fly Free, Sweet Dumbledore

November 26, 2011--The very caring rescuers from MCHS shared the following news with us tonight. Your time was too short here Dumbledore. May you feel endless love as you cross the Rainbow Bridge. ~ CĂ©line
"I have some very bad, sad news…we had to PTS Dumbledore today, he had a blood clot and went down hill quickly at the vets. We are all very sad here."

November 21, 2011-The shelter had this to say about sweet Dumbledore:
"He is neutured, approximately 5 and is use to living with other cats. The sweetest, most lovable boy! Handsome too!! Beautiful plus coat. Affectionate and calm....loves attention. Likes to be held and IS a lap cat. When we let him out of his kennel he jumps right up on the chair. Very fit and handles his weight without difficulty. Loves being brushed. Gives major head butts and flirty glances. A big fan of string games and balls. Nothing bothers this boy. Extremely well adjusted cat. It is safe to say he is a staff favorite."

November 19, 2011~ Dumbledore is a male, gray domestic shorthair cat who is approximately 5 years old.

The Montgomery County Humane Society wrote DCIN with the following information:
"We have a cat here that was given up to us on the 4th of November. He started to get sick and was sent out yesterday to the vet. It turns out that he was diagnosed as being diabetic. He is a 5 year old DSH male. He almost looks like a Russian Blue. He is a very nice boy who according to his give-up sheet is good with other cats. His is still at the vet’s office as they are going to be doing a glucose curve. They are also considering to a thyroid test since he weighs 25 lbs.

As of yesterday is blood glucose was at 542. He was combo tested and was negative. I just wanted to put him on your radar in hopes that your rescue might be able to find a spot for him. His name here is Dumbledore, real name is Kit Kat"
